WELCOME TO THE ESOPRS MEETING 2017
Dear ESOPRS Members and Colleagues
On behalf of the ESOPRS committee, you are cordially invited to join the 36th Annual Meeting of the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ESOPRS) in Stockholm from 14-16 September 2017. The local organizers are Eva Dafgård Kopp, Elin Bohman and Sven Sahlin.
The Pre-Meeting course will be held on Thursday, September 14, and will give you an update on recent developments in various topics relating to Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The course will take place in the Aula Medica of the famous Karolinska Institute, which is located several km from the city centre and can be reached by underground or bus..
Stockholm is the beautiful Capital of Sweden and is well connected to other airports in and outside Europe. The venue of the Meeting is only 20 min away from the airport (by express train). The city is home to some of Europe's top ranking universities, such as the Stockholm School of Economics, Karolinska Institute and Royal Institute of Technology (KTH). It hosts the annual Nobel Prize ceremonies and banquet at the Stockholm Concert Hall and Stockholm City Hall. One of the city's most prized museums, the Vasa Museum, is the most visited non-art museum in Scandinavia. The Stockholm metro, opened in 1950, is well known for its decoration of the stations; it has been called the longest art gallery in the world.
Your interaction with colleagues from different countries will stimulate a creative exchange of ideas and will contribute to a successful and enjoyable meeting.
Further information on registration, abstract submission, venues, and hotels is provided at a later stage via this website and the Meetings' website. In the meanwhile you may contact Dr Eva Dafgård Kopp for any queries regarding this Meeting through email: email@example.com
