The aims of the society are to promote the practice and teaching of ophthalmic plastic surgery within Europe. Members are warmly welcome if they are keen to participate actively whatever their seniority or whatever branch of medicine they are involved in.

Third Newcastle Peri-Ocular Tumour Course,
1st & 2nd October 2010
A joint meeting of oculoplastic surgeons and dermatological surgeons.
Advanced course of the British Society for Dermatological Surgery 2010.

This third multidisciplinary course has been designed for all those who wish to gain further experience in the management of peri-ocular tumours. Facilitators are drawn from oculoplastic and dermatological surgery, but all disciplines are welcome to take part.
Numbers are limited to allow for optimal small group workshops.
Participants will gain experience in the role of non-surgical treatment options, methods of excision and margin control, lesion diagnosis, eyelid anatomy, reconstruction & the management of difficult cancers.
