37th ESOPRS MEETING 2018 in Bucharest: here we come!

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Several months following the very successful Meeting in Stockholm, Sweden, we are already looking forward to the 37th Annual Meeting of the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ESOPRS) in Bucharest, Romania on September 13 – 15, 2018. This event will be organised by Dan Georgescu, PhD MD and Daniela Cioplean, MD.

The venue of the Meeting will be the Radisson Blu Hotel, which is nicely situated in downtown Bucharest, where you will find the Romanian Athenaeum Concert Hall and the Palace of Parliament. Within walking distance of the Meeting’s venue you can visit the National Museum of Art and the Memorial of Rebirth, which stands 25 meters high in Revolution Square. The venue is well connected with a metro station close by and the Henri Coanda International Airport (OTP) at just 18 km away.

We all look forward to the first ESOPRS Meeting held on Romanian soil. The local hosts have organized an exciting and inviting scientific program with a mix of functional and cosmetic oculofacial topics. In addition they will provide us with a social program, which will at least allow us to get a glimpse of the city’s countless museums, tree-lined boulevards and stunning Belle Époque buildings!

We look forward to seeing you in Bucharest!

In the meanwhile you may contact Prof Georgescu for any queries regarding the Bucharest Meeting through email: dan.oculoplastics@gmail.com or via the Meeting’s website, see button on this page.
