Purpose
This video demonstrates the technique of indirect corneal neurotization in a patient with neurotrophic keratitis
Methods
This video shoes the use of Sural nerve graft as a conduit to transfer sensations from the contralateral supraorbital nerve to the anaesthetized cornea in a patient suffering from neurotrophic keratitis
Results
The patient did well after the procedure with return of corneal sensations 6 months after surgery
Conclusion
Corneal neurotization is a promising technique to trat neurotrophic keratitis
