Purpose
To distill insights gained from 35 years of oculoplastics practice at a tertiary care Canadian institution. What issues are oculoplastic surgeons likely to encounter in their practice, how to anticipate them, and how to emerge a better and more humane and effective physician.
Methods
Case presentations will be utilized as a guide to elucidate 10 main principles that are useful to keep in mind as an Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgeon.
Results
Ten useful guidelines to make one a more effective and responsive Oculoplastic and Orbital surgeon will be developed.
Conclusion
Hopefully this talk will be relevant to all Oculoplastic and Orbital surgeons who aspire to better practice and to looking after our patients optimally.
