The Executive Council of ESOPRS is happy to announce the future collaboration of ESOPRS with the Associazione Italiana Medici Oculisti (AIMO) as partner societies.
AIMO has about 1000 members, has a website and organizes Annual Meetings, which include oculoplastic symposia. ESOPRS looks forward to a fruitful exchange of scientific knowledge between the two societies and welcomes AIMO members to our Annual Meetings.
We congratulate our new ESOPRS members, who were accepted at the 2015 ESOPRS Annual Meeting in Brussels. There are nine Full Members, five International Members, seven Candidate Members and six Associate Members.

The European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ESOPRS) has been recognized as a reciprocal society to the Asia-Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (APSOPRS).
In 2013 ESOPRS was recognized as a reciprocal society to the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

It gives me great pleasure to formally announce the formation of the Singapore Society of Ophthalmic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. An informal organization of like-minded Oculoplastic Surgeons of Singapore since 2013, it was officially registered as a Society in 2017 with Dr Choo Chai Teck, Singapore National Eye Centre elected as the Founding President.

Obituary Prof. Dr. Holger Busse, 1.1.1945 - 29.8.2020
It is our sad duty to announce the unexpected passing of our friend and colleague Holger Busse last Saturday, 29.8.2020. As many of us will know, Holger was one of the founders of ESOPRS in the early eighties last century. He was the Chair of the University Eye Hospital in Münster for 24 years from 1986 - 2010. We are sad to announce the sudden loss of two or our most senior and revered lacrimal surgeons, Professor Jeffrey Jay Hurwitz (Canada) and Professor Sergey Shkolnick (Russia).
