Purpose
Congenital ptosis can cause amblyopia if it is not corrected in the early years of childhood, This video is showing how to use silicone tube as a sling in frontalis suspension surgery for congenital ptosis with poor levator function
Methods
We used silicone tube as a sling in frontalis suspension surgery for congenital ptosis with poor levator function
Results
We found that Frontalis suspension using silicone tube has good efficacy , an excellent safety profile.
Conclusion
Comparing with other eyelid suspensors , Silicone tube has excellent cosmetic and good elasticity, simple learning curve and less operative time
