Useful Information
Accreditation
The 44th ESOPRS Meeting 2026, Estoril, Portugal, 10-12 September 2026 will be applying for European CME credits (ECMEC®s) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®). Confirmation of points to be awarded will be available as soon as accreditation is complete.
To ensure the proper attribution of UEMS credits, accurate attendance tracking is required. At the ESOPRS 2026 Congress, an electronic check-in system will be used. Registration mats at the auditorium entrance will read the chip embedded in each participant’s badge for time tracking purposes.
All attendance data will be securely stored and made available for verification upon request by UEMS. Certificates of attendance will only be issued to participants who fulfil the required attendance criteria.

Silent Disco Headphones
All congress sessions will be transmitted through headphones. Headphones will be provided by the Secretariat and must be returned at the end of each day. In case of non-return, a penalty fee of €600 will be charged to the delegate credit-card.

Certificate Of Attendance
The certificate of attendance IS NOT AVAILABLE AS A PRINTED COPY ON SITE but will be sent digitally to you after the meeting.
Cloakroom & Luggage
A cloakroom will be available at the Congress Center.
Food & Drinks
Lunch and Coffee-breaks are included in the registration fee and are available to all congress participants during official breaks.
Insurance & Liability
The organizers cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, loss, damage, or accident or for additional expenses incurred as a result of delays or changes in air, rail, road or other services, strikes, sickness, weather and other causes. All participants are encouraged to make their own arrangements for health and travel insurance.
Program Changes
The Organizers cannot assume liability for any changes in the program due to external unforeseen circumstances.
Recording Cameras, video cameras or audio recording devices are not permitted in the session rooms. Any recording/documentation of sessions is strictly forbidden.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not allowed at the venue: the meeting is a non-smoking event.
Currency
The official currency is the Euro (€). Payment in other currencies will not be accepted.
Electricity
In Portugal, the power plugs and sockets are type F. The standard voltage is 230 V, and the standard frequency is 50 Hz per second.
Emergency
National emergency number: 112 (for fire, police and ambulance services).
Local Time
Mainland Portugal is 1 hour behind European Standard Time (GMT).
