Good to Know

Admission

The admission to the scientific sessions is strictly reserved to registered congress delegates. Minors are not allowed to access the session or the exhibition halls even if accompanied by a registered adult.

Certificate of Attendance

The certificate of attendance IS NOT AVAILABLE AS PRINTED COPY ONSITE. Congress delegates need to complete a CME Evaluation form which will be sent by an email a few days after the conference in order to obtain CME accreditation.  The CME certificate will be available for download after the completion of the form. Please note that only the days in which you have actively scanned your badge will be printed and stated on the certificate of attendance.

Climate

The climate is moderate and quite rainy in September. Temperatures are up to 19°C. The seasonal minimum is 12°C.

Cloakroom & Luggage

The cloakroom (free of charge) is located on basement floor.

Currency

The official currency is the Euro EUR. Payment in other currencies will not be accepted.

At the Registration desk you can either pay in cash, by debit or credit card. Exchange of foreign currency is available at the airport, train station, at most hotels and banks.

Disabled people

The congress venue is equipped with facilities for the disabled.

Food & Drinks

A light lunch, coffee and tea are included in the registration fee and are available to all congress participants during official breaks.

Insurance & Liability

The organisers cannot be held responsible for any personal injury, loss, damage, or accident or for additional expenses incurred as a result of delays or changes in air, rail, road or other services, strikes, sickness, weather and other causes. All participants are encouraged to make their own arrangements for health and travel insurance.

Language

The official language of the Congress is English. No translation service will be provided.

Program Changes

The Organisers cannot assume liability for any changes in the program due to external unforeseen circumstances.

Recording

Cameras, video cameras or audio recording devices are not permitted in the session rooms. Any recording/documentation of sessions is strictly forbidden.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is not allowed at the venue; the meeting is a non-smoking event.

Visa

Germany belongs to the European Union. The entry formalities vary accordingly to the country of origin.

A letter of invitation can be issued on request.
