Passport and Visa

In order to find the regime applicable to your country, please see the information below.
1. The list of countries whose nationals, holders of simple travel documents, must be in possession of a visa upon entry in the Romanian territory can be accessed here.

Ask for a visa online

In order to facilitate the issue of visas, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs restructured the eVisa electronic portal, which can be accessed 24/7 at address http://evisa.mae.ro/, with the aim of reducing the waiting time at a diplomatic mission/consulate and at streamlining the visa application process.

Before you begin your online application you must:
✔ Have a valid email address
✔ Use a computer which fulfils certain technical requirements. For further information see About the E-VIZA portal
✔ Have the possibility of uploading the required supporting documents
✔ If you wish to print or save a copy of your application you must have access to Acrobat Reader or other similar .pdf readers.

Please note that the participants applying for a visa must hold the following documents:

✔ a valid travel document
✔ supporting documents attesting the purpose and conditions of the trip
✔ travel ticket valid for the destination or the driver’s license and registration documents of the vehicle used for transportation
✔ proof of appropriate financial means for the duration of transit (at least 50 Eur/day of stay, but no less than 500 Euro)
✔ medical insurance
✔ accommodation bookings for your travel

Invitation letter

Participants requiring a formal letter of invitation for visa purposes should contact the meeting Secretariat at registration@esoprs2018.ro.

The invitation sent by the Secretariat is intended to help delegates to obtain a visa and does not imply a commitment from the Organizers to provide any financial support or scheduling of presentation.

Visas are not issued on-site at the venue. Delegates have to make their application in advance via their local embassy/consulate.
Unfortunately the Organizers unable to send invitation letters or to make any direct contact with consulates. Invitation letters are prepared solely for individuals and are mailed directly to them.
Please note that in order for the meeting Secretariat to edit the invitation letter, a copy of the participant’s passport is required.
