New ESOPRS-Membership Subscription Fees
ESOPRS membership annual subscription fees have not been increased for a very long time. From 2013 onwards the annual membership fees for Full members and International members will increase from 60.00 € to 80.00 €, for Candidate members from 25.00 € to 40.00 € and for Associate members from 35.00 € to 80.00 €. Mr John Edward Wright, Past President of ESOPRS, died on January 6th 2023, after a short illness
John Wright -- known affectionately to colleagues as “JW” -- was born in May 1933 and, with clouds of war brewing over Europe, he was evacuated and spent much of his childhood in North Wales. Learning was very much fostered in the family environment, his father being headmaster at a local school, and JW completed his grammar school years with award of the prestigious County Medical Scholarship. Obituary Prof. Dr. Holger Busse, 1.1.1945 - 29.8.2020 It is our sad duty to announce the unexpected passing of our friend and colleague Holger Busse last Saturday, 29.8.2020. As many of us will know, Holger was one of the founders of ESOPRS in the early eighties last century. He was the Chair of the University Eye Hospital in Münster for 24 years from 1986 - 2010. On the 5th of February the digital ESOPRS/ASOPRS symposium on ’Nuances in Periocular Reconstruction’ was held.
